Xamarin IOS Not Debugging

I have the very latest of Xamarin Forms.
Android works fine
IOS does not seem to hit the debugger at all. Sometimes it does when I disconnect from the MAC, Reconnect the MAC, delete the app from the IOS phone and restart visual studio in Windows.
I have no idea what is going on or why this is happening but I have been stuck like this for over a week now.
I have googled and googled and found nothing useful.

Hi, SethIsaacks-4659. What the version of the VS on your pc? Try to udpate both the VisualStudio and Xcode to lastest stable version for test.

I'm using VS 2019 v 16.11.0 and no breakpoints are hitting when I run the application in an iOS simulator. I can debug Android and UWP apps. I cannot debug iOS apps.

I test the debugger function just now on VisualStudio 16.11.2, it works fine. What's the Debug type on your project?
