Hi,

I am interested in getting an Office 365 subscription and using the ink editor function to amend Word documents but would I be able to use the ink editor with the track changes function, in order to mark the changes I make?

Many thanks

Jon

Hi Jon,

Yes, of course, you could use Ink Editor with Track changes in Word. I just tested from my side with Track Changes on:

  1. Drow a line with Ink Editor:

  1. Changes have been marked up:

For more about the Ink Editor you may refer to this article: Edit your document with natural gestures.

It has been noted in the article that this function needs Office 365 Subscription and have the latest version of Office. If you have any concerns about this, feel free to post back anytime.

Regards,

Alex

    Hi Alex,

Thanks for taking the time to reply.

Thanks also for referring me to that article. I had previously seen it, and various videos about Ink, but none of them referred to Ink being used in conjunction with track changes, so thanks again for your help. If Ink can be used with track changes it will be a real help to me.

    Best wishes

    Jon
