Word document upload failure

I just bought a new PC and downloaded Office 365. Trying to open an existing document I moved over onto new PC and an alert come up saying: 'Upload failure: this file wasn't uploaded because the specific path wasn't found on the server'. It give you the option of saving a copy but that doesn't work. I tried to copy and paste the text to a new document - same thing. It then says can't save as the onedrive if full but it's not. Any suggestions please?

    Hi Jean,

The error will show when the current user signed in to Office is not the owner of the file in OneDrive. You could try checking the account information in File > Account see which user is currently signed in. If there are no user is signed in, you could sign in with your work account(the owner of the file)

    Regards,

    Alex

Open Word > File > Options > Save > Check Save to Computer by default > Restart Word

If problem is still not solved - Try repairing your Office installation. First try Quick Repair (takes 5 - 10 mins) , if that doesn't help then try Online Repair (Takes more than 30 mins but less than 1 hour in general)

    Hi Jean!

“Start with a Full Repair to Office. Control Panel, Programs and Features, select Office, change, Full Repair (not Quick).

Then open cmd.exe with Run as Administrator and clear the Print Spooler.

Type net stop spooler then press “Enter“.
Type del %systemroot%\System32\spool\printers\* /Q then press “Enter“.
Type net start spooler then press “Enter“.
The print queue on your Windows should now be cleared.

Now close everything, restart the computer and test.”
