Pasting Text into an Excel Spreadsheet

I am working on a project to redesign our website. Our technical team want me to present the information in an Excel Spreadsheet which I can easily do on my desktop, but I am struggling with my iPad.

Here is my problem. I am copying existing copy from our website where there are some hyperlinks to external websites. On my desk top I copy the text, paste into Word, select all and Shift F9 to remove all the hyperlinks. I then remove all the paragraphs so I have one block of text copy and paste into the Excel cell. Even though there is a sizeable amount of copy the text is contained in the one line.

On my iPad I'm copying the text and pasting into Word. Using the A... tab I clear formatting and remove the paragraphs. When I cut and paste into Excel the cell expands vertically to accommodate the text rather than horizontally which what I need. I thought the problem might be with the hyperlinks as when I cut the copy from the website and paste into Word on iPad they disappear but I've got to the source and removed them from the website copy before copying and problem persists.

Would anybody know what I am doing wrong? or I am expecting too much!

Many thanks

    Hi Sammy,

We've notice that this thread has been idle for a few days. May we know if the issue has been addressed already?

If not yet, we suggest to copy the text or number then paste it on the cell that you would like to paste it. Then long press the cell the choose Paste Special and choose what format you would like to use.

If you require any further information, feel free to let us know.

    Regards.
