Workflow submit button not active

Hi,

I am having an infuriating intermittent problem in Project 365 with the workflow submit button not being active.

I'd followed a tutorial successfully at https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/project/create-a-sample-project-web-app-workflow where it worked throughout, except for where I didn't select a project owner or have a sharepoint site created.

After successfully completing the tutorial I then started to work on my own workflow. I created a project type, assigned a basic workflow (pretty much the same one from the first tutorial to start with and confirm it was working), but found the submit button was not active.

I then tried to create a project from the previously working project type and workflow and also found the submit button was not active. That was yesterday.

Today I started again from scratch. Deleted the new workflow and project type and reset the sample workflow so it was the basic one in the first tutorial. Created a project with this project type and the submit button was active. Great I thought. Just to make sure I created another project with the same project type. Again, worked. Checked the first project I created and suddenly the submit button no longer works, same with the second project. Restarting the worklow didn't work. Logging out and logging back in didn't work.

Any ideas why this has happened?

Thanks
