HRESULT 0x800f081e (Microsoft.NET Framework 4.8) windows server 2016

Before installing .NET 4.8 on the server, there is no update pending for windows server 2016.

At the end of the installation I am getting this error "HRESULT 0x800f081e"

Performed .NET Framework repair tool to repair it.

Downloaded the collect.exe tool and copied the log file, follow the download link https://1drv.ms/u/s!AiJVQnR3IiL1jvU4v3hdffVI0ZBjjw?e=ViLUW5

    Sorry for my late reply!

    Microsoft .NET Framework 4.8 is available on Windows Update (WU) and on Windows Server Update Service (WSUS). It will be offered as a recommended update on Windows Update.
    You can try to install it by installing Windows update KB4486129.
