New Map Chart user - Map is not displaying all values on map

I created a map chart using data about how many customers are in in zip code (throughout the United States). The legend shows each quantity (ranging from 1 - 67) but only 3 colors are shown throughout the states on the map.  There should be 15 colors shown, as there are 15 different values accounted for.  Has anyone had this problem and figured out the solution?  Thank you!

    Hi CC Lindsey,

Could you capture a screenshot for the map and the map list in worksheet? When we create a map chart, it will create two types of map according to the value. One is category map which display different colors for different value. The other is value map which display graduated color. After you select data range, click Insert>Recommended  Charts>see if you can find two kinds of maps. If yes, select the category map.

    Best regards,

    Tim

    Hi CC Lindsey,

Are there any updates? Are you able to insert the map chart as category map?

    Regards,

    Tim
