Changing Chart Legend Text

Anonymous

I have created a chart of some of my data and would like to change the text and size of the legend but cannot figure how to do that.

This is my first try at charting so I will need some fairly detailed instructions.

Thank you.

You can right click on legend > Select Data > In the left pane, select your Series name and press Edit button > Give it a new Series name here which will change your legend also.

Just double click your legend to select that (you can also right click to select)

Go to Home tab and format the font / color etc (right click on legend will also give the option to format font / color)

    Thank you very much.

Super!  That got the legends to a legible size.  I'm sorry I was ambiguous about the text.  What i meant was how can I change wording of the text.  They now say Series 1 and Series 2.  I want them to say Required and On Hand.

    Thanks again.
