Integration using BizTalk Server 2020 - Compatibility?

Hi,

I am new and just exploring to use BizTalk Server 2020 for integrating all the enterprise applications used for one of our client.
Please guide me if it is feasible to connect to the below system and if there is any respective in-build adapters for that(Free or chargeable)?

ORACLE
HRMS
ERP
Maximo
Primavera

BizTalk does have an Oracle DB adapter, if that's what you mean.

HRMS is the Oracle PeopleSoft system? If so a bit unclear about what sort of interface it is apart from it being XML based, which BizTalk does. This page even mentions BizTalk https://docs.oracle.com/cd/E16071_01/hr91pbr0/eng/psbooks/ecih/chapter.htm?File=ecih/htm/ecih13.htm

ERP is a very generic term. What ERP system are you referring to?

Maximo and Primavera look to expose REST APIs, so as long as you are using one of the later version of BizTalk that has the WCF-WebHttp adapter, you should be able to consume those services.

HRMS system we are using is the Oracle EBusiness Suit one.

I beleive all these inbuilt adapters and those comes with MS BizTalk Adapter Pack (Like SAP, Siebel etc.) are free & included in the BizTalk Server 2020 License. Please confirm.

Also in case we need some third party adapters if required, will that cost something extra? Could you help me to find some references for Biztalk Server 2020 license & cost? Thanks

I believe that the Adapter Pack is only available if you have the BizTalk Enterprise licence (or at least this was the case with earlier version of BizTalk)

See this blog https://biztalk-server.sandro-pereira.com/docs/pricing for a high level pricing guide, but as it says, prices vary by region & reseller, and also how many cores you are running BizTalk on.

There are some free community adapters out there, as well as paid third party adapters.

Hi There,

Thank you for asking this question on the Microsoft Q&A Platform.

If Third-party adapter is a community adapter or free to use then you don't have to pay anything, though if you are going to use the license version then as per their agreement you have to pay. And just keep one point in your mind, Microsoft will be not responsible for any third-party adapter, also MS will not give you support on that.
