Share Point create folder template

Question

Hi,

I am using Share Point and I would like to create a folder template with a folder structure inside, so that, when I want to create a new folder, I can choose this template in order to create the whole folder structure inside the new folder, so that, every time I have to create a new folder, I create it with the same structure.

Hi Miguel,

Sorry for the delay as I'm on my weekend.

For the cloud solution, we would suggest you try creating the folder structure template in a library first. Then save this library as the template and save the template file. You could upload and apply this template in any SharePoint site if necessary. 

Steps for Modern View of Team Site:

1.Library Settings >Save document library as template. If you cannot find the option Save document library as template, please refer tothe thread.

2.Create the template and save this template.3.You could find the List templates via Site information >View all Site settings to upload and apply you template file

Hi Miguel,

To my knowledge and based on my search, I'm afraid there is no out-of-the-box option to create a folder template with the inside structure in SharePoint Online via UI. 

To address your requirement, we would suggest you try using OneDrive sync client to sync this library on your Windows File Explore. Then you could create the folder structure and use it when you need as a workaround. (Note: Since the empty folder cannot be synced up, we would suggest you add a template file in every folder you create.)
