Deleted Sharepoint Files

We have thousands of deleted files sitting in the Recycle bin that we wish to restore. When trying to restore any more than ~ 20 files at any one time we get an error "The operation has timed out".

Is there any way to restore all files at once? Twenty at a time is going to take several days of constant restoring by a staff member.... It was a lot easier for the files to be deleted than it is to restore.

Obviously this is a catastrophic issue for our business, Microsoft must have a better solution for this?

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated

I just worked with MS support on this same issue. You can change the view to the classic experience and restore 200 objects at a time (shift-click doesn't work, click the box at the top of the column).
