I'm trying to use the LINEST function in excel to do some linear regression analysis. When doing so, the slope comes out fine, but when i expand it by selecting 5x2 square and control+U then command+enter, i get #VALUE! as the result. The selected Y and Y range selected in the original cell of the function change. So in the first linest function the known y is B2:B7 the known x is A2:A7 but then the rest are shifted over. I don't know how to solve this problem, and the online chat with screen take over have not worked. This is shown in the attached screenshots. The slope should be .282 but is wrong because the function is changed. PLEASE HELP!!
