remove recent documents

In onedrive I did have files in there years ago and last year i deleted all files from onedrive since then I still have recent doc still listed under recent document in world online, powerpoint online , excel online . To this date the recent docs are still there and don`t go to noting so How can I remove these. Look at screenshot .

    Hi milnerj,

    You should be to right click the files and then select Remove from list. Does that work for you?

    Do you have the desktop versions of Office? You can do it there.

    It removes the item from the list in the application. It doesn't actually delete the file.
