Hi,
I know that I can make the chart can be animated by category, but I do not have the tab of "Chart Animation" when I choose from the navigation pan small drop-down menu "Effect Options...".
What shall I do.

Yes I am sure, but actually it was a sunburst graph and it is the only one i think does not have this option. When I tried on the pie chart, i found the option and it wirked fine.

That would be it. Several of the new charts cannot be animated in this way *Waterfall, Funnel and probably others.)
Are you sure it IS a chart and not e.g. a picture of a chart.
In the Animation pane is the name "Chart xx" or something else?
