Hi folks,

I have a problem with Excel MS office standard 2013 running on Win10. When I try to edit the axis of a chart (right clicking) the programm crashes. The menu does not pop up and office collapses. The same happens with charts in Powerpoint and Word. Also starting in safe mode this error happens. Anybody has a solution?

Best

R

Thanks Ed, clicking a link will not uninstall it... O_o

I finally ended up formating all my hdd's an installing a fresh and clean win10 version.

Installing Office I still have this problem driving me nuts!

How is this possible? I also tried office 2013 64/32 and office 2010 64/32

    Any ideas?

    Hi Dave,

    thanks for the reply.

The only warning OffCAT found is "You have Microsoft Office Standard 2013 installed. It does not support the Information Rights Management feature"

I tried to repair the program as you suggested without success.

I also removed Office completely and reinstalled it - no success.

I also tried a version of Office 2010 and here the same error happens.

    Any ideas?

Maybe another application installed on my system causes this error? Any suggestion how to track this?

    Thanks

    R

    Hi Robert,

Click this link to download and run the Microsoft Office Configuration Analyzer Tool, to see if that can resolve the problem with you Ofiice installation:

    https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/detail...

Otherwise, follow these steps to perform a full repair of your Office installation . . .

Open Control Panel - Programs and Features

Click Microsoft Office in the list of installed applications

    At the top, click 'Change'

On the resulting dialog, click 'Repair' - choose the online repair, it is a comprehensive fix

That should fix any issues with your Office Installation . . .

NOTE: Please be advised, before attempting a repair, have your Microsoft Office Product Key at hand, Office may need to be re-activated in some cases
