I created a page in OneNote 2016.  On the page I have three simple tables 2 columns 5 rows (the same size).  The OneNote file is shared on SharePoint.  When a user accesses the page in SharePoint, OneNote Online is accessed.  In this view the tables overlap each other.  Please help.

Hi James K Alexander,

Thank you for your message and screenshots. I created a few adjacent forms on OneNote based on your description, then opened it on OneNote Online and found no overlap. So I give you the suggestions below:

1.      You can use other browsers to see if the same problem will occur. This helps you troubleshoot if it is caused by the browser.

2.      You can create a new OneNote and copy these forms into the new OneNote to see if the same problem will occur. This will help you to rule out if there is a problem with the previous OneNote or the form.

At the same time, you can also try it out in the suggestions mentioned above:

1.      Please check to see if only one user has this issue or all shared users. If only one user is experiencing this issue, try changing to a different browser.

2.      You can see if the same problem occurs when you open the notebook in OneNote online.

If the problem persists, please send your problematic OneNote to us by private message so that we can help you better. Please click on the link below to access your private message: https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/privatemessage/inbox.

Regards,

Sukie

I noticed in your test that the tables are not next to each other so you would not see the overlap that I am talking about.  It in not a full over lap but partial.  Enough to make data unreadable.

    Hi James K Alexander,

Based on your description, I tested on my OneNote and the steps below:

    1. Create three tables as shown below:

    1. File > Share > Share with people, then I logged in to view the file with another account and found that the tables did not overlap.

Is your operation the same as what I provided? If not, please provide specific steps.

At the same time, I give you the suggestions below:

    1. Please check to see if only one user has this issue or all shared users. If only one user is experiencing this issue, try changing to a different browser.
    2. You can see if the same problem occurs when you open the notebook in OneNote online

In order to help you better, please provide the information below:

    1. Please provide a screenshot of your overlapping table.
    2. Please go to OneNote File > Account > Product Information and provide a screenshot of it.

    Regards,

    Sukie
