JSON code for overdue date

Hi i have a column thats basically called "forecast due date"

if we are past this date - i would like to flag it as a shaded field box or something?

is this possible via some json code someobody can provide for this specific caause please?

    Hi VDatt,

    It is possible to customize the column in SharePoint online. You may use Column Formatting in the list or document library.

    Then enter JSON code in the left pane.
