Excel Maps Error

I am trying to plot data on a map of the US. The map function will not plot data for the following states no matter how I type the state name (abbreviation, full name, spelled correctly): Georgia, Iowa, Louisiana, New Jersey, New York, Oklahoma, Washington, Wisconsin. I even have a country column to confirm I am wanting to plot states and not cities/counties.

When I create the map, an error appears reading "We plotted 82% of the locations from your State date with high confidence." There isn't an option to explore why it can't plot with 100% confidence or fix any errors.

Could someone please advise how I can plot data for these states? Thanks!

Hi Emily, have you solved this issue? I'm wondering if you've added a value column with your data. Take a look at this support article and feel free to reach out again if you're still having issues.

There's more help information provided here. You may need to add more detail columns such as zip codes.
