Annotations on 3D Maps

I am currently working on a project that requires mapping sales data back to certain geographical regions.  I have been able to create the maps I need in 3D maps inside of Excel.  In order to add some clarity, I want to label the areas to clearly show the area name and its corresponding sales number.  The annotation feature is almost exactly what I need.  The reason why annotations are not perfect is that when zoomed out on the map, they all overlap and become unreadable.  If I zoom in on the map, they spread out and become readable, but then I cant get the whole picture so to speak.  What would be perfect is if there was a way to spread out the annotations so they dont overlap or just allow me to manually move them around.  Text boxes dont work for me because they are not really associated with the area and move around to much when zooming in/out.  Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Josh,

The annotation is associated with the selected data point. 3D Maps will automatically adjust the orientation of the annotation so it's always in a visible text size. It is not feasible to move them manually. Sorry for the inconvenience it has caused. We hope you could give feedback to Office about this need: How do I give feedback on Microsoft Office? You can try posting this Excel UserVoice. If more and more users vote the idea, it more likely to get the attention of the developing team.

Appreciate your understanding.

Regards,

Alex
