    Hi Kshaiks

That is an error, in your Screenshot, above the version showing as requiring activation is a licenced version of the exact same Office . . .

Click this link and run through the Office activation troubleshooter:

    https://support.office.com/en-us/article/unlice...

If that does not resolve this for you, follow these steps to perform a full repair of your Office installation . . .

Open Control Panel - Programs and Features

Click Microsoft Office in the list of installed applications

    At the top, click 'Change'

On the resulting dialog, click 'Repair' - choose the Online Repair, it is a comprehensive fix

That should fix any issues with your Office Installation, including activation . . .

    Hey there, Kshaiks

Welcome to the Microsoft Community forums.

Please can you try and sign into your account again on Office and see if this clears the problem?

I have to do this with my University account to obtain my licence again. Often when I sign into my account again, everything works fine and I can continue as normal.

    Hope this helps,

    Regards,
