Excel very Slow: Calculating threads

Question

Excel is very slow where as and when I work it shows percentage at bottom saying calculating 4 threads with a percentage, and it will do this on every step thus making a 10 min work to 30 -40 min work, which is not at all productive. Most of work is related to analysis on excel. Hence this is a very urgent request to fix it.

Also Please note the file size is not very huge like some files are 7 to 10KB . Please help on this.

I suggest you try safe mode to check the result:

If it is still slow for calculating, I want to collect the following information for further analysis:

1. The version of Office. (Click File>select Account)
2. Check if you can use the files normally before? Which operation have you taken before the issue occurred, such as updating Office?
3. The affected file. I want to collect the file to test on our side to check it is related to file or Excel.
