Dear Sir,

We have MS Enterprise agreement purchased Office 365 Plan E3 - 36 licenses and Few Exchange Online plans 1 &2.

Alnng with EA - We had purchased two  products which were mandatory for each E3 license(CoreCALBridgeO365FromSA ALNG SubsVL MVL Pltfrm PerUsr and WINE3perDVC ALNG SA MVL Pltfrm)

We have in-house Active directory Domain controller in our office, which is connected to Office 365 using Azure connector, and it used for user Validation and management.

We use AD for domain login & sign on information for accessing file servers/in-house applications.

My questions - We have EA up for renewal my management is planning to go for Offie Buisness premium for all licenses.

  • Do I need to still purchase (CoreCALBridgeO365FromSA ALNG SubsVL MVL Pltfrm PerUsr and WINE3perDVC ALNG SA MVL Pltfrm)
  • Can you confirm if I need to buy Windows CALs separately for all users,

And if Yes, which CAL I should take Windows Core CAL

Hi Mohammed,

I'd like to help you. However, I need more information about your requirement. It would be better if you can provide more details for your requirement.

So far, my understanding is that you are currently using Office 365 E3 and a few Exchange Online Plan1 &2. And you want to change to Office 365 Business Premium. If so, you can directly buy the Office 365 Business premium licenses and assign them to the users. After the performance takes effect, you can remove the original E3 licenses and Exchange Online Plan1 &2 licenses. This should not impact your current service (including AAD Connect).

About Client Access Licenses, since it may inclued some private information, I will send you a private message to tell you the details.

Click your name on the forum and select View private messages to access it.

Regards,

Alan
