Onedrive "Something Went Wrong" During folder creation!

I am using Windows 10 and trying to create folders and setup my onedrive to start sharing files with my wife.  I am using the onedrive by way of my hotmail outlook account.  When I try to create a folder it is giving me the "something went wrong" error.  This is a new account, meaning I have nothing on my onedrive currently...

Another issue I am running into is when I drag and drop a file into the onedrive folder, it shows "uploading one item to file" but it never downloads, it will just hang in there forever!  In short, I cannot do anything in my onedrive.

Can someone help with this?

Is this when you are trying on the browser, or in the app?

If the browser, try clearing the cache and cookies or try using a different browser.

If the app on your computer, try resetting it:
Press the Windows key + R
Copy and paste this text into the Run window and press Enter:

    %localappdata%\Microsoft\OneDrive\onedrive.exe /reset

    That will reset OneDrive
After a couple of minutes, the OneDrive cloud icon should show in the system tray.

If it doesn’t start, open Start, find OneDrive and start it.
