Sharing context retrieval failed: SyntaxError: Unexpected end of JSON input

Hi! :)

I have a little problem with my Calendar in SharePoint!

When I create an event, next i'm clicking on its rectangle to invite some people, I push the "Shared with" button, than it show up a little loading popup window, whose preloader don't stop, I wait a little bit (about a 1-2 minutes) during this time

the animated effect of the "Shared with" window (I think its fade) goes bigger and bigger.

Next I reload the tab, but there is this error "Sharing context retrieval failed: SyntaxError: Unexpected end of JSON input".

I think it is a JSON library error, but i can't fix it!

The error appears on Google Chrome and Internet Explorer- these are the browsers which I use.

Here are some pictures:

Preloader can't stop:

    Hi Pepe,

By "Everything is fine", my understanding is that the above workaround helps you. If so, you may use it to finish your setting first.

We will continue to investigate the error message you encountered until it is fixed. And as we mentioned above, we would like to involve more resources to further investigate its root cause. And the tenant info and other information we mentioned is needed to move forward this thread. Please share it via  Private Message when you have time.

Additionally, since you mentioned you have changed many settings, could you please create a new calendar to test?

    Appreciate your time and efforts.

    Regards,

    Zixuan

    Hey,

Everything is fine, but i think you didnt give an accurate answer of my question :(

it seems problems like this one appear only on modified Calendars.

The error can be result of many conditions:

-java software on my personal pc

    -browsers

-SharePoint calendar settings, 'cause i had change many of the settings here

    Regards,

    Pepe

    Hi PepePEpe6,

    Thanks for the information.

We could see the "Loading" behavior as well but without getting the error message after refreshed. We are ready to involve more resources to further investigate it. We appreciate your understanding and would have your assistance to share the tenant info via Private Message.

Additionally, based on my test, when I click the event title(not whole of the event), it will redirect us to the View page. And I am able to click the Shared With button and finishing the sharing. You may have a try to see whether it works for you.

    Regards,

    Zixuan

I am the owner of this calendar and I'm the system administrator here.

I mean refresh the page, not "reload the tab"- my mistake, sorry! :(

I carefully follow the steps from your message, but unfortunately the same error appears again.

Here is the screenshot after I follow your instructions:

    Hi PepePEpe6,

We would like to confirm whether the following are your detailed repro steps:

    create a Calendar in a site>EVENTS>New Event>after created the event>click the event>EVENTS>View Event>Shared With.

If so, could you please let us know what you refer to "reload the tab"? Do you mean refresh the page?

Meanwhile, to further investigation, we would like to collect your tenant info. Please contact your IT department and provide it via  Private Message.

    Regards,

    Zixuan
