Compiler Error in Hidden Module: Solver Code.

I need to use the solver add-in in excel 2016, but on this laptop it won't let me. It usually says "Cannot run the macro 'SOLVER.XLAM!GetGroupLabel'. The macro may not be available in this workbook or all macros may be disabled." when I click on the data tab, and will have similar error messages when I try to open Solver. When I ultimately leave Excel I get the "Compiler Error in Hidden Module: Solver Code.". I clicked the help button on this message to see what it means and it says there is incorrect VBA coding in the Solver Module. I go into the VBA to see what's up and it is password protected (I never set a password, so it must be a module I'm not supposed to get into?) I have a PC at home with the same license for Office 365 that works fine.

Other things I have tried:

1.) Uninstalled and reinstalled Microsoft Office 365 on this computer.

2.) Updated Adobe Acrobat, and even uninstalled it (Online forum mentioned this)

3.) Looked for a duplicate pdfmaker.dot or pdfmaker.xla (I didn't have either)

4.) Ensured ActiveX and Macros are enabled

5.) an online forum mentioned that if you have not set a password for the Solver Module, the default  password would just be clicking enter (Which it wasn't)

I have been looking online for about a week now and can't find any solution that helps me. This is really frustrating as I need it for class, so any sort of insight on the problem and potential solution would be extremely helpful and appreciated.

Please see an answer provided in the link. They had two versions office installed which caused the error. Perhaps you do also?

    Thank You!

It turns out that when I uninstalled and reinstalled Office the first time, it never fully uninstalled the first one. After I uninstalled both, and reinstalled one, it was fixed.
