Image on HTML code not rendering on email when viewed in Oulook mobile app.

I have an email notification sent by Nintex Workflow.  This email is composed and customized in HTML code that includes image inside a table.  When email notification is received in OWA or Outlook in desktop, the image is rendering accordingly.  But when the email is viewed in Outlook mobile app, the image does not display.  I have tested this in Android and the issue also persist.

Where are the images hosted? For them to render in any email app, they have to be hosted in an anonymously accessible location ie not Sharepoint. They may work for a signed in site owner but not a regular user. This sounds like an authentication issue not an os issue.

It worked when I uploaded the image in Microsoft OneDrive (not OneDrive for Business).

Hi Stingeran,

Thanks for posting on our forum.

Based on your description, you can viewed the image on OWA or Outlook in desktop.

The issue is not related to workflow.

Given the situation, as the email is composed and customized in code, I’ll suggest you post a new thread in our MSDN forum for proper assistance.

Thanks for your understanding.

Qing

The image is hosted in SharePoint Online and I'm logged-in in my Outlook mobile app and SharePoint mobile app as site collection administrator.

Note also that I have tested this with the image hosted in public Google Drive folder and same issue persist in iOS and Android (correction on my initial statement).
