Excel Online not saving

I am having an issue where my changes are not being saved in a Microsoft excel online spreadsheet when going through Box.  When I go back into the file after changes have been made it shows the changes temporary and then disappears and never shows that the file was saved. This is happening in both Chrome and IE browsers.

Thanks to clarify me. Can you download a copy, and then add the new copy on your personal cloud storage? If some one share a document with you, you can edit the document but he has to assign permissions before.

I am working on excel online.  This is a shared file and  I am not the file owner so I do not want to save a new version of the file.  How would I save to one drive?

Are you using Office Online? If it yes, try to save on OneDrive and let me know the results.
