Being an undergrad at university, the purchase of Microsoft 360 office was required. For the first 2 1/2 years every application worked perfectly. I recently updated Microsoft Word after persistent notification about three months ago. Ever since, EVERY TIME the document is clicked on (to correct punctation, copy/paste, highlight, arrow scroll through text) I receive two notifications in which I have to click “OK”. The first states “Undo edit button not found” and the immediate second “Insert citation button not found”. I have tried deleting and reinstalling the whole application to no prevail.

Once again you're dumping irrelevant, boilerplate Windows-oriented suggestions to a Mac user. How many times does this have to be pointed out?

Is this the case with one specific document or does it occur regardless of which document is active - including new blank documents?

From Word> About Microsoft Word in the main menu what is indicated as the present Version & License type of your Office 2016 installation?

Also, go to Tools> Macro> Macros to see if there are any macros listed.
