OneNote Slow PDF Import

I recently got a XPS 13 9370 and I've been having a problem with OneNote's PDF file import system.

Firstly whenever I attempt to import a file it will take a very long time (normally upwards of 15 minutes for a file as small as a 1mb). Second of all if I decide to wait for the file to upload and go into a different application via the 4 finger desktop switch it will cause the import to automatically cancel and freeze and sometimes crash.

Anyone else having this problem or know any fix?

    Hi Anthony,

It is possible that this could be an issue with the OneNote app itself or due to the running programs on your computer.

In this case, we recommend performing a Repair of the Office application to check if the issue is within the app.

If this will not fix the issue, we suggest installing Office updates for OneNote to enhance application performance and fixes bugs.

If the issue persists, you can reinstall the OneNote application to check for any corruption.

Furthermore, optimize your computer by closing running programs, freeing up memory space, and restarting it before opening the OneNote application again.

Feel free to post back for the results. Alternatively, if you have other concerns, kindly post a new thread. We're happy to assist you again.
