Formatting problem in OneNote when using Outlook Calendar Invitation

I use OneNote to take meeting note using calendar invitations in Outlook. I am using the latest versions of both and have an Office 365 account. I am also using the lateset version of Windows 10.
I have noticed when i go to insert my notes under the hading “Notes” the font size is 16 point. When i go to change the font settings to say 11 point, the sertings will revert back to 16 point after i hit return. This is a pain in the ACE!!! Can i stop this from happening?
