Microsoft Bookings for E3

Hi I was trying to find out how to activate MS bookings for an E3 subscription in Australia

I see that it was added to E3 some time ago from this roadmap

https://products.office.com/en-us/business/office-365-roadmap?featureid=20461

I discovered that I could @add@ it via this URL

https://outlook.office.com/owa/?path=/bookings/homepage

but once added it now just says I need to "Ask your admin"  I am a full admin of the 365 tenant.

So is there a trick or has this been removed ?

company is small at 45 staff but needs E3 for RDS office applications access.

Thanks in advance.

Hi GarethGadd7785,

Thanks for your information.

Generally, if customer purchased the Office 365 E3 subscription from a CSP provider, then this subscription is also managed by this partner, hence to further purchase this add-on, it is recommend to contact CSP directly.

For your situation, after checking, since your E3 subscription is purchased from CSP instead of from Microsoft, you may try to contact CSP provider again, if they confirmed that they can’t provide the add-on, I suggest that you can purchase the base subscription E3 from Microsoft directly and then purchase the add-on (in this way you need to manage the tenant yourself).

Thanks,

Anna

    Hi GarethGadd,

Booking is available customers who have Office 365 Enterprise E3 and E5, but it is turned off by default. As the Roadmap says, it will be available through a free add-on subscription that admins can add to their existing subscription. To get access to Microsoft Booking, you should sign in Office 365 admin center->Billing->Purchase service->and find “Business App” add-on, which is free, click Buy now, then follow the steps: Get access to Microsoft Bookings

    Thanks,

    Anna

If a feature isn't coming up I'd recommend opening a Support Ticket in the Admin Center.
