Access 2016 Missing Forms and Macros

My Client has an old Access Database Pre 2000 which has been upgraded several times and is now running on access 2016

twice in the last 2 weeks the database has lost the Forms and Macros, this is not during development but when the client comes in in the morning the forms etc are missing . The only thing that I can imagine is the problem is that it may be due to the overnight backup as others have mentioned this in a previous post. Is this Possible?

Thanks
