Error Saving to Server

Hi,

I'm attempting to save a project from MS Project 2016 to the server. I have been able to do this successfully until last week.  I'm getting this error:

"Project cannot save this project because another save is in progress.  Please try again later"

I'm not trying to save any other projects at the same time.

Thank you!

Dale

    Thank you!

Deleting the Cache Fixed it.  The "Cache" Folder was located in C:\Users%\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\MS Project\16

Others beware of the "Repair" solution.  This might not be the case for everyone, but I had a mix of 32bit and 64bit Office software.  The Repair failed, and left me without MS Office or MS Project.  I had to reinstall both.

Hello Dale. I am a fellow Community member here to help. I'm sorry to hear that you're facing this difficulty. I know that it is very very frustrating.

As basic first steps have you tried repairing your installation of MS project?

To do this go to apps and features on your computer and find a MS project. along with the option to uninstall it, you should see an option to modify. If you click on that you should see an option to repair it. If it gives you an option for an online repair I would choose that as it is usually more comprehensive.

Please let me know if this helps. I'm happy to help in any way that I can
