Installing app- stuck on "running package scripts"

My PPTX stopped working along with Excel and asked me to reinstall as policy changed.

This is my second time trying this this morning, it keeps on getting stuck at "running package scripts" and will not finish.

what do I do

Microsoft 365 and Office | Install, redeem, activate | For home | Windows

    Hi (A73), do you mean you are re-installing your Office Suite?

    If so:

    Use this tool from Microsoft to remove all remnants of a previous Office Installation:

    https://support.office.com/en-us/article/Uninst...

    Then go to http://www.office.com and if you're not already signed in, select Sign in

    On the Office home page, select Install Office - Install
