Are you able to "authenticate your Office suite" now? If not, please share with us the following info for better understanding the situation:
- By "authenticating Office 365 on a new computer", do you mean activate the Office 365 Office suite or just sign into it?
- Please capture a screenshot for "it says that it is unable to authenticate".
- Open one of the Office apps>click File>Account>capture a screenshot for all info under Product Information. Please mask your account info if it is in the screenshot.
Meanwhile, as you mentioned company login, I assume you are using Office 365 for Business plan with that account, you may use the SARA tool to help you troubleshoot activation issue with Office suite from Office 365 for Business plan.
