Powerpoint Intersect not work properly.

I try to make brush effect like this video

problem is my intersect doesn't work like that way he did.  I did click the triangle first then the text later then click on intersect only to get "Rectangle" as a result. like this https://imgur.com/a/rFQ7SR5

    Many people refer to a Text PLACEHOLDER as a TextBox. It isn't and will not work in this instance

    Make sure it is a textBox from INSERT > TextBox.

    The only way I can duplicate your effect is by placing one rectangular shape on top of another. Are you sure the shape on top is a text box? It won't work the same way if it's another kind of object.
