I would expect it to be available in PowerPoint 2019 when that is offered this fall.

    Hello,

I believe the Icon function in PowerPoint is only available to those with an Office 365 subscription.

I hope this information helps. Please let me know if you have any more questions or require further help.

    Regards

    Hello Dave,

Thank you for your quick reply. Unfortunately I was refering to the icon function in Powerpoint (adding symbols and pictograms). I hope it is clearer?

Hi LouisDVF, if you mean you cannot find the icon to start PowerPoint:

Click your Start Button, type powerpoint

If PowerPoint appears in the search list, right click it and choose 'Pin to Start'

If you then want an icon on your desktop, drag the new PowerPoint Tile from your Start Menu onto your Desktop

    Otherwise:

Try repairing your Office installation . . .

Open Control Panel - Programs and Features

Click Microsoft Office in the list of installed applications

    At the top, click 'Change'

On the resulting dialog, click 'Repair'

That should fix any issues with your Office Installation . . .
