Users Can Edit Drop Down List

Hello!

I am using content controls (RT and drop down lists) in a Word 2013 document.  To make a very long story short, I have used grouping instead of restricting editing so that users can only access the form fields and not alter the plain text of the template.  I have a drop down list that a user has found to be able to type a response into rather than being forced to make a selection.  I would like to prevent this from being a possibility, will I be able to do so?

Thank you!

Use a Drop-Down List Content Control, rather than a Combo Box Content Control.

The ability to add to the list is what differentiates a Combo Box Content Control from a Drop-Down List Content Control.

Well now I just feel silly.  I didn't realize I had been using a Combo Box.  Thanks so much for the help!
