Permit login using alias email address

Hi everyone

I've tried to look for an answer already but found nothing that clearly says a yes or no answer.

We use office 365 at work. No on site AD or any other servers.

The primary domain ends .london

We also have alias setup for all the email addresses pointing to .org.uk

When logging into office.com we can use the .london suffix to login but not .org.uk. If we try logging in, it accepts the username as valid but refuses to accept the password.

Is there anyway to permit login into office.com from either domain?

Hello Mathew,

If you mean that you want to use the alias to sign in Office 365 portal, it is not feasible to meet your requirements. The alias is only used to receive emails in Office 365 for Business. Please use the primary email address to sign in. I suggest you create a new vote in the UserVoice forum for feedback: https://office365.uservoice.com/

Thanks for your understanding and cooperation.

Regards,

Rick
