    Hi Anney

My name is Jegan, would like to assist you regarding your request.

Try restart your computer and open excel again.

Have you copied your chart templates in any other destination?

    the default location is

    C:\Users<User Name>\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Templates

Also navigate to the File tab > Options > Save and enter the path to the templates folder in the Default personal templates location box:

You may also try run excel in safe mode.

In the Search Box above Windows icon, type "Excel.exe /safe" without quotes and enter.

File > Options > Advanced - In General section (go very much down in Advanced), check "Ignore Other applications that use Dynamic Data Exchange (DDE)". Close and re-start the Excel. Uncheck "Ignore Other applications that use Dynamic Data Exchange (DDE)". Close and re-start Excel again.

    If nothing works

Perform Quick Repair of the office installation

    Hi Jegan,

Good morning Jegan.  My template location is the exactly the same.  I have already did reinstalled Ms office Application and restarted the pc already.   The setting on DDE also set.   For your info, this donut chart is not a standard chart from ms excel.  As u noticed it has 2 X and y series you could entered. if you create a new donut chart, u will find only allow to have one Axis series to select data.

I have no issue on choosing other template which originally coming from MS excel's chart and apply template.  only this Donut chart is special which could have 2 series x and y to select data.

Wanted to provide you the sample find this post cannot attached file.

    Thanks.

    regards,

    Anney
