Graph changes colour from compatibility mode

Hello,

I have many graphs copied from a programme (InCyte) onto a word document that was in compatibility mode.

I want to copy the graphs over into a word document that isn't in compatibility mode (and I don't particularly want to change it to compatibility mode), however the colour of the graph differs between one mode and the other.

The colours become much darker, and the composite graphs don't seem to take when pressing "Save as Picture". None of the "Paste Special" options remedy it, is there a way I can avoid this?

Thanks

What happens to the graphs if you convert the document from Compatibility Mode to the current format by using File>Info>Convert?

If you are still having a problem, send me a copy of the document, referencing this thread in the covering email message, I will investigate the issue.

    Hello Tina_X

We want to know more about the issue you’re having the graph that changes color on the Word app. Please answer the question below:

    • Can you tell us when is the issue happening? Is the issue happening when copy the graph directly from InCyte to a Word app that is not in Compatibility Mode, or copying the graph from a Word app in Compatibility Mode to another Word app that’s not in Compatibility Mode?

For us to replicate your issue, can you provide a screenshot on how you’re doing the process. You can share the screenshot to us by responding to the private message that we sent you. If you need instructions on how to share a file, click this link. To view your private messages, click on your profile name, select My Profile, and then click on View private messages.

If you need additional information regarding creating an Excel chart in a Word application read this support article. If you have an available Excel spreadsheet file, you can use this article to insert a chart from an Excel spreadsheet into  a Word app.

    We’ll wait for your response.

    Bob
