Planner notes on tasks disappear

When I copy a link to a task, then open that link, the notes field in the opened link is empty. The original task still contains the notes, unless I edit in the copy opened from the link, then original notes disappear.

Hi suBrenda,

I can’t reproduce your issue when I copy a link to a task, the notes won’t disappear.

You can try the following suggestions to see the result:

  1. Sign out your account, thenclear browser caches. Quit browser and then reopen it to see if you can find the notes.

2. Switch to different browsers to see if the notes will disappear.

  1. Create a new plan and copy the link then add the notes to check it.

If the issue still persists, I would like to confirm some information:

  1. Does the issue happen on a specifictask or all tasks?
  2. Did you get any message after you add notes, if so, send us the screenshot of the message.
  3. When did the notes disappear? Did they disappear after you refresh the page or just after you add it?
  4. How did you create the notes? Please tell us more details about your steps.
  5. Please confirm with your colleagues to see if they meet the same issue on their sides.

Best regards,

Gloria Li
