This browser is no longer supported.
Upgrade to Microsoft Edge to take advantage of the latest features, security updates, and technical support.
Eg. I create a Ta sk in Planner and make an entry in the Notes section. Then I assign this task to an additional user(s). I can still see the notes I made when I view the task but the additional users cannot. Notes just appears to be empty.

Hi Aaron,
Thank you for posting back and confirming the information with us.
According to your description, it seems that you can see the notes after closing and opening the task.
Given this situation, we’d suggest you try another browsers to check if the same problem will occur. If you have any updates, you can post back. We’re also glad to provide help.

Hi Sukie,
Wow, I was not expecting such a quick turnaround and for such thoroughness. Thank you very kindly for looking into this! I'll have to double-check but I believe Chrome is the browser in all cases. Here were my steps:
- User1 couldn't see the notes of task 1
Perhaps propagation latency? I haven't noticed it with any other fields or attachments - they all seem to carry over - it only seems to be the notes. I'll attempt a few more tests tomorrow and include different browsers. Again, thank you very much for taking the time.
Aaron
Hi Aaron,
Thank you for your message in this forum.
According to your description, I have tested it on our side, as steps shown below:
I went to Planner web application > added a task and added the notes, as shown below:
Then I assigned the task to another person, then I signed in with that account to check the task, I can still see the notes, as shown below:
May I know if the steps above are consistent with yours? If so, we’d suggest you change another browser to check if the same problem will occur.
At the same time, to better understand your situation, I want to confirm the information below with you:
If the steps above are not consistent with yours, could you provide the detailed steps about how you add notes?
Best Regards,
Sukie
