OneNote Excel Spreadsheets do not sync with original

While OneNote offers you the option to open the original spreadsheet in Excel, changes in Excel will not be mirrored in OneNote. This is the case in Universal OneNote as well as in Office 2016 OneNote. Less frequently, this also happens with the temporary versions stored directly in OneNote. l thought OneNote would be better integrated with Office. I'm really disappointed.

    Hi Gezedka,

Upon checking your concern, the feature you're looking for is not available at the moment. The Changes you make to the copy in OneNote won’t show up in your original. And changing the original won’t update the copy. If you need more information regarding this matter you can check this Microsoft article for more information.  With that being said, I strongly suggest posting this concern to our OneNote.UserVoice so that out software engineers and developers can look into the idea and eventually add it to the next update.

Let us know if you have other concerns.

    Bob
