Time sheet total hours worked

Help!

i am trying to add up the total hours/minutes worked on a time sheet.

this is a piece of the data i have:

the Hours** field has the equation "=HOUR(F45-C45-(E45-D45))&": "& MINUTE(F45-C45-(E45-D45))" all "IN" and "OUT" fields are formatted as h:mm

the "copy of hours filed number only" field is where i have literally put "=(G45) to copy the number thinking i could add att the values in a hidden field.

the "Total Time" is not adding up to the sum of the hours or the copy field. it is coming up with 16.0 instead of total hours 112.

i have tried "total time" in both number and h:mm formatting.

Thur IN OUT IN OUT Hours** copy of hours field number only

6 2 7:30 12:00 12:30 16:00 8: 0 8: 0
