Document Library checkboxes in webpart

Working on  SharePoint Online site, I've created document libraries in and unchecked the option to "Allow individual item checkboxes". This works fine when I look at the libraries in Site Contents; however, when I add any of those document libraries to a new page as a webpart, the checkboxes always display. Is there a way to disable this?

Thank you!

    Hi Suomanainen,

As this behavior is also present on our side, we would like to involve more resources to look into this matter. To do this, we will send you a private message on how to move forward. You can access your private message here.

As a workaround for now, you can use the Embedded web part and paste your document library link to the web part instead of using the Document Library web part to enforce the settings you have applied.

    Regards,

    Sheen

That option is a view setting so you would need to edit the view being used to change it. If you're using the default view, it's probably a bug.

    Hi suomanainen,

Thanks for sharing your experience with us.

We test the library web part from our side and also observe same behavior in modern pages. We may need some time to do more investigations and if there is any update, we will let you know as soon as possible.

    Appreciate your time and patience.

    Regards,

    Tina
