Ipad pro - excel - function or command to display the filename (and path?) on the worksheet

I want to be able to display on each worksheet the name of the file (and possibly its path). I learned on the net that the function =CELL(“filename”) would accomplish this, but it does not seem to work on my Ipad Pro.  I’m using Excel version 2,28 (19080905), (Microsoft 365; ios 12.4).

    Allen,

    re:  Cell function

A possibility...  the file must be saved.

Not the answer.  File has been saved, just before trying to implant the file name, and many times prior to that.
