Access Form issue

I've created a button on a form in Access and i'm getting the error message...with the this action requires an object name argument"

On the event I entered.

>Open Form

>Form name 

but I get the error 2493

I've created these many times and have never gotten this error message

Microsoft 365 and Office | Access | For home | Windows

    I have figured out that if I create a new button and change it from a form to a report it works but I don't really understand why

    Hi,

    in your routine event code try to : Debug -> compile.

    then compact your db
