Review comments truncated

I use the Review function in Word.  Suddenly, the comments box 'eats' the left side of my comment, as below. The "Might want to see..." came out as "light want to see ..."  It happened just after Word installed an update

How can I fix this?

Please go to Word> About Microsoft Word in the main menu to determine the present Version & type of License for your Office software. Include that info in a reply here.

One thing to check as well: Have a look at the Comment Text style to see whether a negative Left Indent accidentally has been set... It should be at 0 or a positive value.

    You were prescient.  Somehow, the comment text style was outdented. Setting it back to zero worked.
