Keyboard disappearing

Hi,

I have a iPhone XS, and I  updated the software to iOS 13 beta version two weeks from today.

Immediately after this update, my keyboard on my OneNote app fails to stay up long enough for my to type more than one letter in a note.

I realize that the beta version of my phones software may be the issue, but I want to see if there will be any updates pushed out for the OneNote app?

I’ve already uninstalled the app, restarted my phone, and re-installed the app several times. The keyboard still continues to disappear.

Any suggestions?

    Hello Eileen,

I followed the steps verbatim 2 times, and it still did not keep the keyboard up.

    Any other suggestions?

Thank you for the update, Brill. I'd recommend getting in touch with Apple Support for further assistance. They may provide you with some troubleshooting steps that will help to resolve the issue or possibly have this query send as a feedback to their engineers. Also, we suggest checking any future updates from the OneNote app itself and make sure that the app is up to date.

If you have additional questions, please let me know by replying to this thread. This way, I'll get notified and respond back to you as soon as I can.

    Hi Brill,

We appreciate you for taking time in posting this query. To isolate your concern, we'd like to know if the same issue replicates when you are using other Microsoft app on your device. If it's only happening to OneNote, I'd recommend performing the steps below:

    1. Open OneNote, tap the < icon in the upper-left corner of the screen, and tap the gear icon next to the account name and email address.
    2. On the Settings screen, under Account, tap the account name.
    3. Tap the account name again and then choose Remove Account.
    4. Accept the notification that appears to confirm signing out.
    5. Double tap the device's home button, and swipe up on the OneNote app to close it.
    6. Start OneNote and sign in to your account.

Tip! It is recommended that you keep your device updated with the newest version of Apple iOS. For more information, see Update the iOS software on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

If the same issue persists after performing the steps above, you may also reset OneNote itself and check if it helps to resolve the problem. Click on this link for the instructions.

Please respond to this thread to let me know how the issue progresses. Similarly, if you have more questions, please inform me by replying to this post.
